Interactive installation
The QQK (pronouced: Kuckkuck) consists of three main components: a cabinet containing technology, a motor with a turntable, and a plexiglass box that is assembled using 3D printed connectors. Five sides of the box are frosted, with only the front side being visible and displaying the exhibited piece. A camera at the front recognizes faces and controls the motor, which rotates the box by 180 degrees when a face is detected. To break the cycle, one can simply hold their hands in front of their face so that the camera does not recognize a face, mimicking the old childrens game. After a while it will rotate back to ist original position to be looked at again.
