I’m fucking confused :’( :’( :’( ” – Comments of this kind were received by virtual influencers, i.e., artificial figures created via CGI on social media. The present work examined comments via sentiment analysis, the automatic evaluation of comments. Virtual influencers who appeared perfectly human received more negative feedback. The Uncanny Valley effect also plays a role in social media.
