three Super 8 projectors, black-and-white Super 8 films, color filters, analogue synthesizer, and sound archive

A performance executed by recreating the primitive systems of colour photography, not to reconstruct its result but to decompose it – obtaining, on the same screen, sectors in black and white that are immobile and the chromatic separation of the figures seen in movement. The images suggest a critique of the omnipresence of the automobile and an impossible escape into the natural world. A requiem for the civilisation of oil. (Claudio Caldini)
