This short poetic “danse macabre” in circular movements takes its perspective from the grave world of Ercolano in Italy, where the deaths of human bodies were captured through the volcanic ashes of the Vesuvio’s eruption in the year 0078. This frozen imprint of a catastrophe is memorised in a peaceful way, a long time after the shock, in order to contrast the contemporary world’s sensational television images of catastrophes that are hiding their commercialisation. The video transmits the silence of a grave world where there is no more human activity but only a media feedback of the world.
